The shop is full of lovely British made items for the new season and is looking very full! We have had some very nice comments made about a lovely letter (about us) that appeared in the April/ May copy of The English Home Magazine, with a picture of the shop front, we're in the 'glossies'! In Britain Magazine is offering a Dilly Dilly brochure to its readers and I will be happy to send them out to any one who e.mails me. Spring flowers adorn the castle motte and although we have been battered by freezing winds there is the promise of blue skies and sunshine and Warkworth is ready for visitors and tour buses. There are some lovely pieces of wrought iron work coming from Belltrees Foundry, log holders, an amazingingly beautiful chair with a leather seat and some lovely new wall lights. Just arrived are rolls of garden twine made from recycled paper, fabulous! and a lovely trug with a garden apron, gloves, handcream and metal markers, just right for gardeners.
